Deep into the night the cackle of flame
announces the stockman’s abode
his harmonica plays a mellow symphony
ode to the stockman’s repose
The QLD Floods have been the worst ever – 75% of the state was declared a disaster zone – as Price Charles equated it “the size of France and Germany combined!”
Addicted we are to the mighty RB
we bubble with vigour and vim
inspiration abounds for all to see
to assist with creation on a whim
Happily I will labour on
with the dream there in my sight

brings dreams in the hazy heat

I dragged them out and up there and then I had to drag them back home again. Their world of convenience forgotten for the beauty and true life values of the High Country. I am so glad we went!
