The Challenge

Our 13th Challenge launched on Friday the 13th!!! Well this weeks theme is SINGLE LIGHT SOURCE & sorry to be a pain but please add what it is lit by!

BEFORE YOU CLICK ENTER, CHECK IF THE IMAGE IS IN THE GROUP, IF IT’S NOT, SUBMIT IT NOW OR I WILL REMOVE IT!

Single Light Source – (could be indoors, i.e. reading lamp/window light, or outdoors street lamp, light from doorway etc, no full sunlight but directional sun/shade, so that should give you all a little something to play with! No shots taken with a flash. No shots into the sun, the image has to be LIT by the light, sorry to amend this, and I am sorry if we feel we have to remove your image from the challenge, but we will explain why :O) Basically my image here on the right, although not the best example or quality (& not taken with a compact!) Is the general idea, where you can see it is lit. Any queries please ask.

This challenge is only open to group members and obviously the image has to have been taken with a COMPACT POINT AND SHOOT CAMERA. As per group rules the camera details must be added in the description of the image.

Judging / Voting Criteria

Voting is for the image that appeals to you most of all and in your opinion creatively captures theme Single Light Source and is of course a good quality image!

Rewards & Prizes

The winning photographer will be featured member, and their image will be avatar too, plus of course the rights to brag and boast to all! The top ten images will also be featured.

May I also add I am not being over picky on the rules, but if the camera details aren’t added we don’t know if it’s been taken with a Compact Camera or not and if it’s not in the group it can’t be featured if it is placed! That is the reason! :O) So if you have taken the time to take the photo and submit it I guess you’d like to win and be proud of your win!
