Many of the building in the Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Minnesota area are connected with elevated and enclosed walkways such as this one. They protect people walking around the downtown area from bitter subzero temperatures.
A photo I took during one of the worst winter storms in Maritime history. It was storming and the fog was like pea soup… at the same time! This is a portrait of my son, Ethan and grandson, Alexander taken at a Denver Park late in the afternoon with my Canon 5D Mark II DSLR Camera using my Canon 100mm Macro Lens with a wide open aperture for blurred background. This was converted into black and white in Photo Shop CS3.
