I’m a lucid dreamer. I’m often aware that I’m dreaming, and can manipulate events to suit me: grow wings to escape danger, bring rain on a sweltering night, sprout fangs to meet my monsters with a snarl. Occasionally though, I’d like to just let go and relinquish this need for control….give the reins over to something else. Or someone. Who knows where that could take me.

“Mister Hyde” was featured in the groups / The Patchwork / Outsiders and / Core [C.O.R.E] (25-10-2009) 434 views (16 November 2009) The title was inspired by the fascinating story of “Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde”. According to Wikipedia: “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” is a novella written by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson and first published in 1886. It is about a London lawyer who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and the misanthropic Mr. Edward Hyde. The work is known for its vivid portrayal of a split personality, split in the sense that within the same person there is both an apparently good and an evil personality each being quite distinct from each other.The novella’s impact is such that it has become a part of the language with the very phrase “Jekyll and Hyde” coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next. / —-- ...end of citation— Well, we all have a bit of a dark side, don’t we?
