This is a watercolor on paper (Fabriano Artistico Hot press 140lb) I used gouache in the background and some watercolor crayons for details and patterns in the background. Still trying to go more towards an imaginative, narrative semi-abstract style. I liked to give this one a title that could be the beginning of a story. / The little girl and birds are done by layering colors separating the yellows, reds and blue.
