Deep in the gorge of Watkins Glen. This is a truly magical place that allows me to fully experience the feeling of divine inner peace. This was photographed with a Canon EOS 10D camera using a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L zoom lens @ 70mm. The shutter speed was 1/60th sec at f/8. The camera’s ISO was set to 200. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release. Your comments are always welcome! The sky over the bush (bosveldt) in South Africa, Kruger Naional Park, is absoluetly stunning. Its pure blue, unpolluted, undiluted, real sky blue that takes your breath away! This was taken recently whilst running to the car i quickly lifted my lens to the African Sun and captured its warmth. A storm rolls in over Blairgowrie beach, Victoria,Australia. This is a reworked version of one of my earliest shots uploaded to Redbubble. I’ve just made some minor adjustments that I intended to do a long time ago. I’m happy now. ;-)

I am still hoping to get a chance like this during this month. These moments are so precious, however, that they like beautiful butterflies. You have to be there just in time on the right day and with the right sort of weather conditions. Or they are gone. Even following the weather report closely the evening before you are never able to forecast the exact situation at a certain spot. So there is only the trying. Some of you might say: why try to repeat what you did before? Well, there is always the challenge of an even better result. But to be honest: it will be difficult to improve on what I managed to achieve here on a lucky morning like this one near Lage Vuursche in October 2007. These pale peachy yellow Day Lilies from my garden in Toronto, Ont. Canada, are submerged by the Fallopia Japonica all summer long… they bloom beautifully beside the shrub, which provides great contrast with it’s splashy painted leaves…at the end of the day the sun is just kissing them with light…I have a huge variety of daylilies and have given them their own pages in my garden website….I thought I would share some with you.. unedited and as is / DayLily 1

Oh my….I am so honored & humbled and give all the GLORY to GOD for being featured in Living Christianity Feb 2009. Thank You So Much!!! Oh my goodness…another feature for this piece of art! I am so excited & honored to be featured in Angel Wings and Heaven in March 2009!!! Thank you so much!!! Featured in For the Love of Jesus in June 2009. Oh my…thanks so much…I am so honored!! I ran across this verse this morning while reading some verses via www.biblegateway.com, and I love it! I took one of my sky photos, added the cross that I drew, added a crown of thorns that I found via googling for that type of art, and then added the verse Hebrews 12:2. Lots of layering….but it was worth it! I hope you all enjoy it. / / ©Sheila Pasket 2008, 2009 All rights reserved. / Copying, altering, displaying, redistribution and personal use of any of these images is strictly prohibited. “Mysterious Kor” came out of nowhere today…I started out planning to do a winter painting, then as this scene emerged, out of the blue the title came into my head…the strange thing is that I had never heard of or read the poem before in my life…when the name popped into my head I looked it up and found it was about a city where no one lived, and is an allegory about London during the blitz…when I read the first two lines, I saw that they echo the subject of the painting... This is Sunrise over The Remarkables range in Queenstown, New Zealand. Initially it looked as car comming up the mountain. I have a shot with a Sun pocking out but prefer this one. This group is to showcase the rays of light through trees, branches, windows and other objects.
