Splattery, drippy goodness with a japanese flavour.
Create an illustration (print or tee version) that not only showcases some seriously awesome splatter effects, but also reflects the wonderfully enigmatic fun-land that is japan..
IMPORTANT: this challenge is to celebrate the quirky charm of japan and therefore imagery depicting negative aspects will be rejected. this includes topics such as whaling, war or anything else which is seen as negative by the hosts
work must be original (duh)
work must feature splatter/drip elements as a prominent part of the design
work must be influenced by japan – this needs to be visually obvious!
illustrations only
work must be submitted to the group before it is entered into the challenge… any work not in the group will be removed sorry!
existing works are accepted. since it’s such a specialised subject matter – we figure if anyone has already got something japanesey and splattey in their collection then props to them, they deserve to enter it in a challenge! re-working an existing piece is also fine – as long as it fits the criteria!
♥ happy tokyo-splattering!
the winning work will be featured, as well as become the new group avatar for at least two weeks, as well as all the glory of being AWESOME!!♥
your work might even get featured as soon as it’s submitted if we think it’s really freakin awesome! ;)
Spread the word kids – tell your splattery friends about this one!!
