A drone fly wanting to share the buddleia blossom with a Comma Butterfly in my York garden. I had been concentrating on what could be the last butterfly of the season high in my last flowering tree, when I spotted the drone fly speeding in. Formula 3 fly by by 80Y2C2

This is a shot of an F3 car flying by at Eastern Creek. It was my first outing with the DSLR and I was experimenting with the shutter speeds and trying out some panning shots. I thought the aggresive white, the long blur and the bright rings where the wheels are portrays the fury of such a full throttle fly by. Of course the colours are blown out, but I think they look alright with the shot and give it an almost painted effect.
