1. The PHOTO AND IT’S TITLE must tell a story. Add a famous saying, part of a song lyric, a poem, an extract from a book, etc. if you wis, but remember that a story must be communicated by the PHOTO.
2. Nudity will be allowed, if it meets RedBubble’s guidelines. Nudes themselves are not stories. If the moderator does not feel their is a story in the PHOTO, it will be rejected without comment. Please accept the moderator’s decision as final.
3. Comment on the work of other artists, play nice :)
4. Don’t forget to mention in the description of your work if you had any collaboration with another RedBubble or any other artist.
5. Challenges will be fun, if we feel that a photo does not have what it requires to be in a challenge, we will remove it. Submitted images in challenges must be submitted and accepted work in “Speaking Photos.”
6. Follow RedBubble guidelines, privacy policy and terms of service.
7. If you have great ideas for the challenges let us know! We are always open to new ideas.
8. No pictures of pets. If you add animal photos, no mistreatment must be displayed, this includes caged animals. If they are in a zoo, the PHOTO has to make a statement.
9. We are not fans of macrophotography of flowers. If you include flowers, make sure they are a part of a PHOTO that tells a story.
10. The last point goes for landscapes. We love sunrises, sunsets, and historical places, just as much as you do, but please add some “speaking” element to it.
11. Lately we have been removing most of the images in which horses are displayed in any type of races, rodeos, horse-drawn carriages or other activities that involve non-ethical or subservient scenarios. We are trying our best to educate ourselves as hosts in regards to humane animal treatment.
12. The portfolio will be kept under 300 pages. All work over 300 pages will automatically be deleted. THis is done to keep the portfolio new and fresh. Work deleted may be resubmitted be we encourage you to enter new PHOTOS.
13. SUBMISSIONS ARE LIMITED TO TWO PHOTOS PER DAY PER MEMBER. More than that will result in rejection of work beyond the two allowed.
