THIS SHOT WAS TAKEN FROM THE TOP OF MOUNT VACA, NEAR VACAVILLE CALIFORNIA, LOOKING WEST TOWARDS NAPA CALIFORNIA. I INVERTED THE COLOR SPECTRUM AND ADDED THE SHOTS OF THE PLANETS IN PRINTMASTER 11. THE MOON WAS MY SHOT, THE EARTH, SATURN AND JUPITER CAME FROM PRINTMASTER, AS DID THE SPACE SHIP.

Detective Nit (Blue Man) and his partner Meps (Mechanical Employee of Police Squad) have tracked down the evil assassin robot Pique and her assistant, one of the ambiguous Grey Men, and foiled their bomb plot, thanks in part to Meps alert identification of Pique from an earlier encounter . In moments they will be in custody, but at the cost of Detective Nit’s ride… well, he always hated that car. / (No robots were injured in the making of this film)

A landing by retepk
View from across the lander looking easterly towards the Plain of Aeschylus and the Orkasdian Mountains bathed in red mist on this strange planet. With its ice and its only vegetation that of a moss-like plant that seems to proliferate in many areas on its surface. The mist, which is unbreathable, seems to be ephemeral returning at unpredictable times. The twin moons are topographically similar but have no ice. The Moody Blues’ / HIgher and Higher Created in Artmatic Voyager, Bryce 6 and Photoshop.

The Pisq navigator by retepk
One of a group of Piscean navigators taking a break in the holodeck of the ship Anglerian during a voyage out in the Fifteenth Sector, / The Pisqlomupasscwinns, or Pisq for short, from the planet Fisqmulasoian (22nd Sector), are a confronting lot. Known for their outrageous behaviour as it seems to be a national sport as to who can be the most confronting (in a jovial manner I hasten to add). So if you encounter them, as is probable, because they are frequent flyers off-world. / The planet has a population of approximately two million. Low compared to a lot of other planets. / Main cities are Pizc, Pizcs, Pizch and Muldarynqna (these are, of course, very rough Anglicisations of their, to us, very strange language. As is our words for them and their planet’s name. / I strongly recommend, should you visit this planet, bring your own food. They wont be offended. / Put together in Photoshop combining photographic elements with Groboto and Photoshop-generated shapes and textures.

Photographic Scoop of the Millennium. . . by hugh023
A never before seen image of an Ortegran making an Interstellar journey. It has been known, ever since the Ortegran’s joined the Galactic council that they have the ability, as individuals, to travel at near light speed but to capture an image of them doing so has proved to be impossible. In this instance remote camera’s set up to analyse the dust clouds surrounding the stars in the Pleiades constellation just happened to be taking an image as an Ortegran was moving past the camera. It is still not known how the Ortegran’s actually achieve their near Speed of light travel but it seems from the image that they travel along a beam of light that they produce internally. Somehow the wavelength of light preceding them is of a much higher frequency than that following them. About the image. . . This low resolution Bryce image of the Ortegran (1280×960 pixels) took a little over 50 hours to render (the 3rd time).

I’ve always been passionate about landscapes, first painting in watercolor, and later learning digital 3D modeling techniques using Bryce 3D, and currently Vue Esprit. Other programs like Strata 3Dcx and Poser support these designs when I need props or people. My favorite subject matter is science fiction and fantasy, so expect fantastic lands, other worlds, and surreal landscapes to be the norm for me, often in a humorous vein; so come visit, and I hope you enjoy the view!
