1) Southern. You must be or live in the southern United States; not southwestern.
Your profile must clearly state YOUR CITY AND STATE. The state should be in the list that follows.
2) Subject. Any.
Nudity or other sensitive material must have the safety filter on. Keep it tasteful, as this is fine art. Other than that, we’re open to most subject matter. This is art.
Cartoons are okay, if your characters are original, there is a story line or obvious message, and the work is great.
3) Media. All.
4) Format. No Greeting Cards or T-shirts; because we have an eye toward exhibiting.
5) Quantity. A few a day is fine. Be considerate.
This is about quality, not quantity. If you have a lot to upload to us, that’s great; but please ease it out over several days. A few a day in the beginning is just fine. Remember, your best. No overall limit.
6) Quality. High.
Because the long term mission is to exhibit, select your finest works, the ones representative of you, that you would be proud to put in a book, and that, when printed large, are more beautiful than when printed small.
Digital works should have no pixelation at 100% and blending should be immaculate. Send your best only.
7) On Joining. Introduce, read terms, add our banner.
1) Introduce yourself in the forum topic, “The Artists, Introduction”.
2) Read the group terms topic in the forum; and
3) Pick up, our small promotional banner and add to your profile, please. As a new group, we need your help to get exposed to other fine Southern artists, like you. Thank you!
