The Challenge
We’re keeping this challenge pretty broad because we are hoping for everyone in the SD group to participate. What do you consider your very best photo depicting South Dakota? Choose your favorite and enter it in the challenge.
Judging / Voting Criteria
When voting consider how well the image depicts our state. Does it say something unique about our geography or people? Does it make a statement that would identify this region as separate from other parts of the United States? And as with any challenge, look for a technically good image: sharpness, composition, framing, light etc…
Rewards & Prizes
The winner will be the individual whose photo receives the most votes from group members. The winning image will be displayed as the South Dakota group icon for a period of time.
Additional Information
The challenge will be open for a month. I think we need that amount of time to give everyone a chance to take part. Then I will try to get the word out to everyone somehow to remind them to come back and vote and the voting time will remain open for 2 weeks! Have fun!!
