For images of songbirds of North Aamerica. Minimum requirement for acceptance into the group is a correct identification of the songbird. Information about the bird is welcome but not mandatory. However, quality images and accompanying information will be given priority as feature material. Please research as best as you can, if you are not sure, the moderator’s will assist you. ..Excluded are all caged birds, swifts and hummingbirds, kingfishers, doves, most woodpeckers, all raptors, gulls, shorebirds, waders and waterfowl (geese, swans and ducks). . We look forward to learning more about our fine feathered friends, and sharing our knowledge with all members.
We will limit each member to 1 or 2 per day, with a maximum of 20.
The songbird must be the main focus of the image. All photos must be taken on North America soil, must be identified, with a brief description of the bird itself, the photograher need not be from North America.
