Firefox usually downloads. That’s the fastest way, then read it from your desktop. Otherwise, the application that works with your browser will pause and seem to not be doing anything. Actually it’s loading it into your browser to read. Might take a minute to load that way.

PLEASE, PLEASE DO COME BACK HERE TO COMMENT. THERE IS A LINK AT THE END OF THE PDF MAGAZINE. YOU CAN CLICK IT AND COMMENT. COMMENTS ARE IMPORTANT TO THE WRITERS. THANKS SO MUCH!

Enjoy!

The Adobe Acrobat Reader is free for Windows, Mac, and I believe Linux. You can make it the default to read PDF files for your browser or on your desktop. But again, it is slower than using Acrobat Reader straight from your desktop.

Adobe Acrobat (or Preview on the Mac) allows you to zoom in or out the pages and navigate through the pages. Preview must work with a downloaded file (on your desktop or computer) to navigate. Otherwise, it only shows the first page if opening it in the browser.

And thank you to everyone who created it!!!!!!

Thank your Robin! Did you download yet?

@Everyone, just a reminder, if your browser loads the app with a “helper application”, it will look like a blank page for a minute or two while it loads it. You can probably just download it with Firefox; will take maybe 20-30 seconds and then open it with your Acrobat Reader app (or Preview on Mac)

Oh, good! Isa didn’t think hers was downloading. I think it’s that pause. I need to really write a script that will make it a nicer download. I’m really pleased with this issue. Thanks, Robin! Okay, I’m going to start mailing out the notices, so members will have them Sun/Monday when they get in.

@Isa Rodriguez: Isa, such kind words. Many thanks. This issue had 4 contributing writers who wrote most of the issue. I couldn’t be happier with vol 17. Glad to see you making headlines, there, Isa!! :)

@maxy: Maxy, hope you love the issue like I do!

@nishagandhi: Nisha, thank you so much! The artists in this issue, led by Scott Naismith, are excellent and varied. The writers submitted some wonderful articles. It all adds up! Thank you.

@Kartoon: Kartoon. Sorry about that download process. I guess the worse thing about that 1-2 minute wait, is the blank page. Makes it seem even worse. I’ll see about making that experience better. Could be a few weeks though. Thanks for the input. I don’t like waiting for it either.

@Leslie Gustafson: Leslie, sounds like you know Scott’s work. I’m so pleased to have a part of sharing his art with more viewers. He’s exceptional. Thank you for your testimony. I guess you saw the magazine issue then? These were all newer pieces not uploaded to Red Bubble (yet anyway).

@florene welebny: Florene, thanks so much. When I lay it out, I’m thinking along those lines— of a glossy publication. Thank you. The depth of the writers and their experience give the magazine dimension and the artists professional showcase features that they deserve.

Wow! Frannie,

I have not given this magazine the view or attention it really needs to have until now! Wow, Thank you everyone of the wondrous work you do to put this all together…

It allows me to see artist at work, art working to shift our thoughts and Ideas about the life around us… as for Scott’s work, caught my eye and attention more then anyone else I have seen… he is compared to Favue of Matise what I see Van Gogh , brilliant splashes of color, combined with everyday views of the the everyday!
Plus all the other artist here creating wonder! I will come back again and again…
