Welcome to the Green Room for participating SoJie 13 workshop members, their family, and friends
who want to join the excitement.

Eventually, you should see a spread of food and drinks, and plenty of faces you know, and lots of
conversations to join!

You will need to authorize the applet to record. This is a standard security measure to prevent
a website from secretly recording you.

Have fun, don’t worry about your voice. We have all different voices and accents. You are among
friends, who, by now, probably feel a bit like family. :D

If you hit the play button, first thing, you’ll hear a little message from Fran. You can play around with your recording
as often as you like and not save it. None of your bloopers will be saved. Once you’re pretty happy with it,
go ahead and click the button to send it to the server! If you want to record one per each of your works that’s
okay too! Enjoy it! It’s just a tool.

The idea is to record your experience in the SoJie 13 workshop.

If you record and there is no sound on playback, then another software has not deallocated its hold on
Java Sound. This is a fairly recent phenomenon with recent Windows and Mac upgrades, and certain
software (Adobe) upgrades. There are workarounds to trick your computer to releasing Sound Input.
But they are too complex to describe here, because they vary with system set up.

Try with one of these two browsers and if these don’t work, then you are free to make a recording
of your own, if you have QuickTime or iMovie, or another software that allows you to do so. Once you’ve
made such a recording, if you go that route, write Fran for fowarding instructions. Be prepared to tell her
the file size of your wav (preferably).

It has been a great experience for me being first of its kind as participating in the Sojie…just amazing…how enthusiastic the team solo is, indeed great stimulator , i really wonder for their enerygy & untiring spirit.
It is there high intensity enthu which have made all the participants to come up so fantastically in submitting & going for translations…WOW!…
For me it is a great begining of a wonderful creative journey…i wish to be all along all the way .
I may not be able to participate through voice due to some techinical problem but with words ofcourse.

I was glued to my screen last night watching this go up bit by bit…I could not tear myself away! What a fabulous body of work! Congratulations to all of the fabulous artists, to Frannie, Maxy, and Elizabeth and Qnita. What a Ride!!!! It is so amazing to see all of the works grouped together! Bravo Everyone!!!

Your work has been so appreciated. We could not have had the organized flow to the workshops that is so critical, without your

Elizabeth Bravo, our Graphics Coordinator, has made the banner and uploaded it, so my first task is to make that available.

Then I’ll complete the introduction, etc. and we’ll post the first award badges in your respective ribbon rows – that’s your participation award!
