month after month of cold
piled so high,
muscles aching from moving
shovel after shovel
from one place…
We cannot revisit our past to change those things that haunt our conscience in the present. We can however consider the outcomes from these same events to help inform the choices we make in the futur…
The crystalline frost delicately painted

no longer adorns our world
with its ethereal beauty.
Pristine mounds of snow
that once smoothed out
the sharp corners of our reality
The white blanket is alien to my eyes.
I breathe in, a large deep breath, and I can smell the white blanket.
It smells, clean, and fresh, and crisp.

Got the turkey in the oven. Came on here to Wish Everyone A Happy Thanksgiving! Having family here today so it will be nice. Wish my dad could be here too! Miss him alot!
