Sorry, not so. The author clearly states in an interview also highlighted in the RB link that all tilt-shift effects were added in post-production because the artist didn’t want the hassle of lugging a tripod.

Of course, none of this detracts from the beauty of this video, which is definitely worth watching.

I have tilted the rules a bit to create a contest, allowing all photos of the Lunar Eclipse to be in our ad-hoc contest…if a photographer uses a tilt-shift technique, they will get extra credit…This was a once in a lifetime op to photograph the lunar eclipse, so I took the op.

Hi Junaed and Andrew… are you both still around? :-)

I have decided to have some fun with tilt shifting and while usually photo manipulation leaves me cold, this is something that I have been playing around with, adding tiltshifted versions of already added original images. :-)

I was chatting to someone saying I could not see a group for this, then she found this group.

I notice though that there has not been much activity of late, and now that my main group has taken off, I find myself needing a new challenge.

If you need any hosting help, someone to start challenges and look at features etc etc etc if you do not have time at the moment, please do let me know and I shall be happy to help you :-)

Well it’s time to pass the baton onto another member or two of this small, yet talented, group.

If you are interested in hosting this group, then please express your interest below or bmail me.

The duties are as follows:

• Moderate the images that are accepted into this gallery – are they really tilt-shift? If the images are tilt-shift (either using correct lens of Ps editing), then images are accepted. If not, the images are not accepted in this group.

Optional duties can include:

• holding group challenges
• altering the group rules
• introduce forum activities.

Come on, it’s not too hard – I would just like a breather.

If no one expresses interest by 5th June 09, then I will ask that RB close the group :(
