This is part of a display in the corner window of the Bay at Yonge and Queen Streets, Toronto – part of an exhibit of clothes made entirely of cottonelle bathroom tissue – designed by Canadians in aid of breast cancer month – I especially loved the fine details in this beautiful dress, and it’s pink – the clothes were also on Breakfast television and Cityline Fashion Friday of last week – all the clothes were beautiful works of art in their own right – i believe that Cottonelle is marketing some pink tissue for this month specifically in aid of breast cancer – taken October 3/09 around 10:30 in the evening – Canon XSi on shutter priority – as is / 18.0mm / 1/125 / f/3.5 / 800 ALL SALES WILL GO TOWARDS THE CURE FOR BREAST CANCER /
I spotted this cute Honda moped park in front of a restraurant in a quaint little shopping village in Lahaina. What a fun way to get around the island. And that it was decorated with Hibisus flowers, really made it look local. / /

Winterset is the birth place of John Wayne. This picture was taken in January of 2008 with my canon S15 !
Okay, so maybe this is homage to Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street – or not! I shot this in Degraves Street, Melbourne, yesterday. The weather was very cloudy and there was a chill winter wind, so all the gas heaters on the street were turned up high. I was on the lookout for vibrant colour – and there is never any shortage in this area. I only shot about two dozen frames as I didn’t have much time to spare, but this sight really caught my eye. Despite the black wall and the brown background of both these large signs, I thought it would be great to compose a frame that included the classic red-and-white striped pole, as well as part of the lit interior of the shop. I was just about to hit the shutter when the woman with long ash-blonde hair walked past, so I included her in the shot as well. Even though she is anonymous and out of the main focus zone, she really does fit the message of the image. The use of the word “forces” is interesting and almost harks back to World War II. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigm 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/45, ISO 800, focal length 68mm. As the evening wound down and the darkness crept over the place, this shop keeper in Taormino, Sicily began to remove the more valuable items from his window display to reduce his overnight liability. EOS Canon 5 D / !/50 sec / f /5.6 / ISO 1600 / focal length 109mm / 28-300 mm glass / hand held

Storefront of an Anne Taylor Shop
AS IS :Porta San Franscisco, Xativa, Spain. This shopfront is at the start of the street which encompasses the twice weekly market. The beautiful church door can be seen along with two ladies discussing their purchases, this old church is extremely difficult to photograph, as the corner is a meeting place and the street is narrow enough to shake hands across.
