The Beauty of Arches

This challenge closed about 3 years ago.

The Challenge

For this challenge, I would like to see a succession or pattern of arch shapes, also known as an arcade. The arches can be one behind the other (looking from near to far) or they can be side by side as seen in some bridges or other architectural designs. The only requirement is that the image must have three or more arches. Please use the Cover Image and the image below as inspiration.

Judging / Voting Criteria

Please vote for your favorite image(s) that meet the challenge criteria and group rules.

Rewards & Prizes

The winner or winners, will become our latest featured member (s) and will have their avatar on our Shapes and Patterns page. All of the Top Ten winners will be posted on a special broadcast page.

Additional Information

The work does not have to be accepted into the group first but remember that the images must meet Shapes & Patterns guidelines: No text, digitally added frames or borders, no human subjects. Questions….contact Lynn Gedeon
