we’re making our own X-Mas cards this year, / so today we had a photoshoot.. Gambit in his Elf outfit..
My take on a song thats currently haunting me – Regina Spekter’s “Genius Next Door”. Her lyrics are often enigmatic, apparently she prefers for the listener to use their imagination regarding the topic rather than giving it all away. For me, the song is sadness in duality – for the environment, and the youth of today. Please watch the video below:

My Time with You… Coffee anyone? I decided to try my hand at some still life. Not some I normally do, but I thought it was time to probably expand my understanding of photographic art a little. I don’t have a studio, so I had to make one using our dining room table and a black blanket as a backdrop. I shot these in middle of the night, so that I could control the light. By the way, these were shot with candle light only. I used another candle as a fill light. Anyway, I did get some wonderful photographs last night. This is one. It is amazing the results you can with being a little creative with a laser pointer and a single LED flashlight. Those are coming in color :-). In the meantime enjoy this little set of photos. the brilliant male cardinal, the boss of the group, enjoys a brief moment of warm sunshine as he rests on a snow covered pine branch. I love his pose, and he looks kind of dreamy, possibly thinking of spring. / /

Well, I have taken all the precautions I could, ie, tick the clear image of photo box to discourage save as well as put the watermark across the centre of my image, BUT…............I still have had a photo stolen! Elena Harris on Flickr has decided she liked THIS IMAGE so much that she thought she would claim it as her own I have reported her to Flickr as well as Yahoo IP/Copyright, and left a comment on her image, but I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do? I guess that she has taken a screen print, converted it to a jpg through software such as Adobe to be able to upload it on her profile, but the quality appears quite good. I thank Tai Finlay for alerting me to this. It would seem that while ever we put our images on the internet, there is the possibility that they will be stolen!

We all have our art up on RedBubble, waiting for someone to see it and say “I want that one!” However, with so many of us, it’s hard to even be seen, let alone seen by someone who loves our stuff.
The purpose of this group is as the name suggests.
Absolutely anything is allowed here – just put up what you most desire to get out of the Bubble and into the world at large.
Exchanging tips and organising ways to promote ourselves can only benefit us all.
If the group gets rather large we may have to limit the number of submissions. As of yet there are no limits but try to keep it to no more than two a day.
