Never worked seriously with graphite pencils before, as far as I can remember, but got inspired by some amazing works on RB to give it a try. Title inspired by the rock opera “Tommy” (“see me, feel me, touch me, heal me”). The Who / Tommy (1969) / Go to the Mirror Boy Doctor: He seems to be completely unreceptive. / The tests I gave him show no sense at all. / His eyes react to light the dials detect it. / He hears but cannot answer to your call. Tommy: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. / See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. Doctor: There is no chance no untried operation. / All hope lies with him and none with me. / Imagine though the shock from isolation. / When he suddenly can hear and speak and see. Tommy: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. / See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. Doctor: His eyes can hear / his ears can see his lips speak / All the time the needles flick and rock. / No machine can give the kind of stimulation, / Needed to remove his inner block. Go to the mirror boy! / Go to the mirror boy! Father: I often wonder what he’s feeling. / Has he ever heard a word I’ve said? / Look at him now in the mirror dreaming / What is happening in his head? Tommy: Listening to you I get the music. / Gazing at you I get the heat / Following you I climb the mountain / I get excitement at your feet! Right behind you I see the millions / On you I see the glory. / From you I get the opinions / From you I get the story. Father: What is happening in his head / Ooooh I wish I knew, I wish I knew. / / (“Source”: / /

Times are tough. The economy is bleak and people are suffering on a global scale. Myself included. My frustration and depression are my inspiration for this shot. I wanted to create an image that could express these feeling and at the same time remain faceless. In other words, i am just another person you pass in the street or sit next to on the bus. Suffering in silence. 709 views “Distress” was featured in Pleasure & Pain / Featured in Photographers self portrait / Featured in Black and White Photographers / Featured in Self Expression

Portrait, expressions, chalk pastel. / A portrait of my beloved gandmother who is a very tallented, respected artist and has taught me so much in regard to art and emotion. However to my disapointment she will never look at my portraits of her, she doesn’t like her appearance in her old age so i wouldn’t dare show her this one. / People have told me she looks happy in this piece. (people who don’t know her) but the ones that know her can see a look on anxiety and pain, the emotion that is unique on her face.

A transcendent picture of the world in the music of Peter Lieberson. In The World in Flower, Lieberson explores how spiritual life can flourish in many ways. / Ultra Fractal. Nova(Mandelbrot). / 3 layers, kaleidoscope, sphere, 3D mapping
For my lovely sister in law, Lyndsey.
This classy Lady is “The Ambassador” of her country, talking to the audience, to the world about it…representing her nation with pride and dignity. / To emphasize the elegance of the painting, I added Gold everywhere where it seems to be yellow, and a fine, barely noticeable Silver in her dress, above her eye and her beads. / In real it is a very rich and sophisticated looking piece.
