A 24-carat Autumn Day Near Galena, Illinois
My favorite spot any season, this shot was taken in October when the leaves are changing.. The northern birds come to NJ to overwinter which is why there are so many on the river. The River is the South Branch, the town Clinton, NJ USA. the Old Red Mill is now a working museum, and reflects the historic nature of the town built along the river in the early 1700s. If you’re near by it’s worth a stop. A perfect complement is this image of the Mill Wheel /

Stay tuned for the winter version which more than likely will be called White Canape. Captured in Toronto, Ontario Canada Nikon D200, Nikkor 24-120mm Green Canape (the “Summer” version) / /

Love the vibrant red and orange colours of an Autumn day? Or how about the crisp, stark white of an icy cold Winters day? Maybe a field of flowers blooming in the Spring tickles your fancy! Or maybe you just love a hot, searing Summers day at the beach.
This is a group to showcase those stunning landscapes of the four seasons… Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring.
If your landscape image depicts a season, then this is the perfect place for it! The main focus should be the landscape. Objects, buildings and people can be in the image as long as they are not the main focus of the image. Close-ups of flowers/leaves will not be accepted. No sunsets please. Christmas and Thanksgiving are not seasons! Writing is also welcome, providing it is relevant to a season.
