The primary subject of the image should clearly show some signs of decay, rust or dilapidation.
Images that have been manipulated, such as HDR are acceptable, however, images that are overprocessed to the point where the none of the characteristics are clearly visable will be rejected..
Subjects which are simply old but well preserved will be rejected
Landscapes will not be accepted unless they form the background to your image, neither will images of just rocks, cliffs or mountains.
The building or other subject must be the primary focus of the shot and form a significant part of it..
No people or animals unless they are an insignificant proportion of the image.
