GUIDELINES
_These guidelines have recently been updated and pertain to existing works as well as new works._
- Photography and artwork must be directly related to Route 66. We’re looking for good quality images, not snapshots of your family on vacation. If an image has no detailed description that ties it directly to Route 66 and it could have been taken anywhere (Example: automobile, landscape, sunset, etc.), then the image will be removed or rejected.
- Submissions should be of locations within a few miles or so of the old U.S. 66 (Route 66) highway in the following states: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
- You must reference Route 66 in either the image description or in the title.
- The location of the art must be included in the description. Please try to include the city and state so that other enthusiasts will know where to find it on their next road trip.
- The topic of all journal submissions must be directly related to Route 66.
- Absolutely no nudity allowed. There are other appropriate groups for this type of art expression. Any works with nudity will be rejected or removed.
- Absolutely no profanity allowed. Any works with profanity will be rejected or removed.
- Absolutely no journals or writing with mature adult content. Any works of this nature will be rejected or removed.
- Absolutely no political journals, artwork, or writing.
- Limit submissions to two (2) uploads per day.
