As part of Soxy Fleming’s gallivant across the East Coast, i met up with her and Fleur at Juilee Pryor’s So engrossed were we in conversation, and the delight of trading stories and connections, the only photographic evidence i have is a series of photographs taken by my 4yr old son, who’s extraordinary imagery resulted in this collage I’ll keep the self portraits of his nasal cavity, and his floor, leg, and bottom series for another time….best to keep them guessing, i say!
The beautifully talented Mrswillow posted a gorgeous painting drawing my poetry from me! / The deep russets and browns highlighted by the golden beauty of my favourite fruit! / ‘September Pear’ / Enjoy! ♥

In response to a news article today about a guy finding frog remains in his can of drink. Ugh! Inspired by my response to yet another bad @LEIGHSALES pun on Twitter!

/ Half coloured, thank you to gottheshot friend and fellow bubbler for the idea! / I have also a softer pink version, I would really appreciate some feedback as to which version you like the best, thank you :) / / / Original drawing, please note the actual rainbow that appeared on the drawing from light coming in through the trees outside the window of my studio, hence her name…. Bramble Rainbowtree…. she throws her arms skyward reaching to the heavens above… spots, stripes, flowers and streamers are added to convey the celebration and joyfulness in her spontaneous gesture…. ...Little Bramble Rainbowtree began as a little pencil drawing inspired by my beautiful niece Maya, who has the longest hair ever! This so reminds me of her, except that Maya’s hair is much more beautiful and much darker in colour. ...I have coloured Bramble Rainbowtree digitally, I hope you like this special fairy :) ...a great little vintage design for big and little girls, friends, birthdays, gifts, bedroom decor, nursery walls, etc.

Just out testing my new 35-350 L lens. The weather hasn’t been that great here over in Perth over the last couple days, but I did manage to get a break in the clouds to shoot this sunset at some nearby farmlands near where I live. EOS 500D. Featured In: Riginals.

I was shooting at North beach on a windy afternoon and there was allot of sea spray around along the coastline between North Beach and Scarborough Beach due to the heavy swell. This resulted in my filter getting really misty, to the point where the final photos I took during this shoot resembled those of a lens with a soft focus filter attached! Unfortunately I didn’t notice it while shooting, and allot of my photos were ruined, but I liked the way this shot turned out, It has a nice dreamy appearance. Let me know what you think about it. / / This is a pencil drawing, that I’ve coloured in digitally, I also have a little golden chinese chop for my signature which was created for me a few months ago by Keith Richardson / hope you like “January” a little bit of a vintage or 70’s feel, revisiting the past, downloading a little bit of summer … now listening to “Pilot” singing January and Magic one of my fave band from the seventies, yeah, right along with the Bay City Rollers n stuff like that…hopeless huh :) so while I’m at it…. Bay City Rollers (I only want to be with you) /
quote by Goethe It’s been far too hot to go outside these past couple of days, so I’ve been working on improving my patience skills indoors instead. Once again, I used the +10 macro filter for this. I’d be keen to know what you think. :)
Thatt’s right, this is one of those jump-warping elephants in the act of entering this space-time.
this ghostly flowering tree seems to be almost radioactive … shot some time ago in the desert around Broken Hill with Infrared film the tree itself just glows in the full desert sun. ...it’s so radient it seems like there must be angels breath on it almost setting it on fire somehow…surely you could see this tree in heaven it’s so bright and so beautiful…...it’s the tree I would most love to be able to sit underneath and dream some dreamy dreams

/ I find this song so uplifting, I’m not usually into this kind of music…but there’s something about it, something that reassures me, it’s hard sometimes….life….we make mistakes, we struggle…..but let’s keep on keeping on…... / ........ / Don’t give up / It’s just the weight of the world / When your heart’s heavy, I / I will lift it for you / Don’t give up / Because you want to be heard / If silence keeps you, I / I will break it for you Everybody wants to be understood / Well I can hear you / Everybody wants to be loved / Don’t give up / Because you are loved Don’t give up / It’s just the hurt / That you hide / When you’re lost inside, I / I’ll be there to find you Don’t give up / Because you want to burn bright / If darkness blinds you I / I will shine to guide you Everybody wants to be understood / Well I can hear you / Everybody wants to be loved / Don’t give up / because you are loved / You are loved Don’t give up / It’s just the weight of the world Don’t give up / Everyone needs to be heard You are loved / (Josh Groban)

another shot of some gigantic ginormous plants in the back yard of my friends place… and yes it’s taken with Kodak Highspeed Infrared film… love that stuff / . / oh the bottom of the image is a reflection into a swimming pool where the IR film has made the water a deep true black…..
this is a shot of a friend’s back yard in gritty inner city Newtown… must be the only place in that suburb with a pool … I kid you not… anyway I’ve always loved the view across the neighbours yard… that towering plant is a strezleki bird of paradise plant… the biggest I’ve ever seen…. and I just love the idea of having surfboard’s stacked ready to jump in the pool with…. hey it amuses me….. anyway IR film of course… my favourite type Kodak Highspeed black and white IR film which has sadly been discontinued…. so sad anyway enjoy…..
a while back a friend of mine on RB posted this, and i think it’s really worthwhile to watch… /
