Mutual Purchase Scheme!

I can’t think of the right title for this post so this one will have to do for now. Basically my idea is as follows:

1. Two artists agree to purchase a work of each other.. say cards or small print.
2 Each artist honours this agreement and purchases the equivalent work from one another.

Why do this?

Well, it means that we can better afford purchasing works from RB as our purchase is subsidised by the reciprocal purchase. Let’s be honest, we are mainly on RB to SELL our work but once we are on board we would quite like to BUY some of the amazing artwork that exists on RB!

Also, it would help promote our work to a wider audience and no doubt RB will be a bigger success as a result… something to all our benefit. Who knows, maybe RB would offer a discount to such purchases to encourage it!

Let me know what you think. I am prepared to start the ball rolling with anyone who’s artwork I like. Remember, its entirely VOLUNTARY and relies on HONESTY and TRUST.

So… we should find somebody to agree to buy each others artwork? I dont get it, whats the scheme?

Mmm, selling work would be good but if I see something I like I’d just buy it.

RB is great, but I’m here mainly for the community – let’s face it, artists are mostly poor (sorry to generalise), so I don’t think I’ll be selling much at all. Well, I haven’t sold anything :( and even if I do, I don’t think it justifies the effort I put in, if I’m here for sales.
