Digital self portrait help

This is a mixed media self portrait. I’m happy with the facial features and need to add a bit more detail to the hair, but I just can’t seem to get the skin tone right and it’s really starting to frustrate me! I’m doing this in Photoshop CS3. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

Hi – I think you need some shadows, or more shadow, the right of the face as you look at it looks to be nearest the light source so the left as you look should be shaded more likewise with the nose,

only my opinion though, I am not a digital artist.
