Why only certain countries? (locked)

I would like to know whether there is an RB policy of selecting only certain countries from where members are accepted, and if so, what are the criteria for selecting these countries.

I raised this issue on the 4th November:
RedBubble Regional Geographic Member Discrimination

and received support:
A matter of concern …

My opinion is however, that RB are waiting for this issue to die down and just naturally go away.

In my journal, I also added my response to Peter Styles (founder of RB)email to me:
I’m sorry Peter, but my personal feelings towards your reply to my email can only be related to a “Claytons” answer (The answer you give when you aren’t giving an answer).
You are in the 1% – put up with it!!

Guys – please include a suggestion in the feedback forum so we can see how broad the community support is for this suggestion (I believe you’re suggesting that we should start shipping to more countries). The feedback forum is here and a specific suggestion can be found here (please make sure you vote on the suggestion).

We made the decision to stop shipping to some countries on commercial basis. The fraud rate out of some countries is high – so it was just not economic for us to ship to these countries with our current processes and systems. This decision to limit our sales footprint has affected less than 1% of our sales.
