Cool prints Marilyn! @ everyone – can I join the ‘ex-smokers’ club’ too? Seems like just about everyone is owning up to being one! (Me too for real & quit cold turkey too Steph!) @ Helen & red – really excellent page! Is anyone game to admit they are NOT an ex-smoker? |
@Helen – awesome collection! Congrats on getting the home page. |
I realized finally that I had been smoking a couple ciggies a day for 20 years – quit when I turned 50. Always been a bit of a tough one, because I LOVE to smoke and never really had that bad a habit, daily smoking-wise. |
LOVE the smokin’ page – from a COMMITTED SMOKER!!! Not ashamed to admit it :-D |
I have never smoked, and I don’t think my body or lungs could handle it as I used to be an asthmatic. My mother has never smoked in her life but she has many lung problems, and the doctors don’t believe that she has never smoked. It’s weird that some smokers can live until 80, like my grandfather, but some non-smokers can have similar problems and not live to 50. I really do like the current homepage. @Jan – I have started created t-shirt designs too, as I am not making any sales with my art. I’m mostly doing slogans… mostly (sorry, I don’t know why I felt like putting in that Aliens-esq line… lol! I watched it recently. Hee hee! |
@Helen and Red, great set! I’ve never smoked either, but my parents did and my father didn’t beat the odds. |

@Aglaia – AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Shane’s lovely tunnel page (sort of balances out the disconcerting smoking page).
This has turned into a true confessional about smoking. Now just hold off telling me which tunnels you have been down please. |
Thanks so much Helen and redbubble for featuring my work on the homepage,,, feel like I have won the lottery!! so here is my first attempt at this,, (dont blame me if it doesnt work,,, techno geek here!!) I love the vintage inspired images,,, and here are just a few of my favourites… |
@ Aglaia – you have got these weird patterns flashing in front of my eyes ;))) @ red – thank you for choosing these beautiful dreamy tunnels selected by Shane! Lovely page that leads….... @ midzing – it’s so great you had your work up there – & your vintage selection is so moody… (& BIG congrats for getting the images up! I cannot believe you are a techno geek!) |
@ Colleen – there is NOTHING to be ashamed about re ‘being committed’ ;))) |
@ DragonFlyer, its taken me months to learn how to do this,,,, its quite addictive, may have to do another one!! lol |

@Midzing – Love the vintage selection, it looks awesome! I wanted to do vintage nudes (as I love them lots… my pic here ) but wasn’t sure if it was appropriate for some RB users. |
OK, the tunnel page looks good, but was it really necessary to have two artists with two features each? I think there are a lot of photos for this subject on RB … |
@bubblehex08 – I agree…. I only just noticed the two artists with two artworks on the homepage. It might be an idea that if a post is made with two artworks or more by the same artist(s) then other posters on this forum are allowed to submit substitutes… I don’t know. |
@sarah & bubblehex08 – couldn’t agree more about submitting substitutes when more than 1 from an artist is suggested. |
@RED – I’ve never been down the London-Paris tunnel but it’s a fantasy of mine – true confession ;)) hehe |
I AM BACK!! |
@Sanne – WELCOME BACK, SWEETIE – Woohoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! We’ve missed you – hope you are well :))) |
