@Pip Gerard I agree with you and those were almost my exact words. I post things here to help promote quality works no strings attached, no friends with benefits, just judging based on the beauty of the works. I think that’s the way it should be and I don’t see why anyone will feel less than anyone else because their features got chosen instead of theirs I know I don’t, but that’s just me. Its not a competition, ^{the work we are showcasing belongs to the artists}. I feel that with our contribution we will help beautify Redbubble and this in turn will bring more attention to the page as a whole and also the works will ultimately have a better chance of properly being promoted and ultimately sold. ^{Its all about the promotion and advertising of quality works}.

@Hannah your choices are amazing you have great taste in beautiful unique works. I tend to ignore certain things, and some things if I ignore them too much tend to escalate and make me feel bad if I don’t express my opinion about something that I see is just not right and uncalled for. We work hard to choose the best of the best, ^{and this forum should not be for criticism}, it should focus on beautiful works and us helping promote that.

Thanks for the info @Lynsye, that one picture of the dog so large looks very macro, I think you can even see the dogs fleas, lol j/k I don’t really see any fleas. I hope that’s not the case because not all pictures look good Macro-sized and why fix what is not broken? I like clicking on the eight options, and comparing them side by side, but that’s just me…

I know what you’re saying Sanne. I post the images here because I love them and want to share them. I do get a thrill when they’re chosen too. I am not seeking recognition, merely to show everyone that I love a particular piece of art. I like the artist who created the piece, to know I chose them. I want them to know that I think their art is so fantastic I chose it for the homepage! I would love to know the same, if the situation were reversed. Ultimately the person who is going to get the recognition is the artist. Afterall it’s their art that is on the homepage :)
