I recently uploaded a photo called “the Preamble” which I questioned the idea and indeed the need of such a concept. On further thought of the idea I realised agree to many preambles, I belong to a group whose preambles include the concept that all human rights are respected, protected and promoted. (before you agree on that question your religious beliefs) . So I therefore question what is the preamble for Redbubble? I note that Redbubble has many diverse groups that I’m sure would conflict in their ideological position but I’m not sure of redbubbles position on censorship eg would Bill Henson’s photo be allowed on Redbubble ? So far what I have seen of Redbubble is that it is “inclusive” rather than “exclusive” I’m sure that this type of debate has entered into the Redbubble arena before but it is healthy and important to keep the debate alive. |

I think the issue of what content is allowed in the bubble has been discussed at length on other threads. Have a look through them and add your thoughts if you wish. I think the final word would have to be that if you don’t agree with any of the rules of the bubble then you can look elsewhere on the internet for places to display that particular form of art. |

Where we Stand is Red Bubble’s mission statement of sorts. |

Redbubble has made a set of guidelines of what they deem to be pornography. |
