I'm visiting Perth, WA

Hi all WA photographers.

I’m hitting Perth next week for a few days and looking for some good spots to go to take photographs. I’m staying in the Rockingham area, but will have a car so can travel.

Anyone happy to point me into the right direction feel free to BuBBleMail me.

Dennis, there are great views of the city from King’s Park.

If your around the Rockingham area, You might want to visit Point Peron and Safety Bay. Also Penguin Island is in the area, And you can take a tour across to the island.

Mandurah isn’t to far away from Rockingham (About 30 mins drive), And makes a great day trip. You can also head inland a bit along the Murray river and out to the town of Pinjarra.

Fremantle is also a great place to walk around and take photos, And is a great place just to visit with plenty to see and do.

If you head inland, Serpentine Dam and Serpentine National park are good places to visit, And not to far to drive from Rockingham.

If you head into the city, Kings Park is a great place to get some nice views of the City, And the Swan River, And plenty to see and do.

You can catch the train into the City or down to Mandurah from Rockingham now, With the new Perth to Mandurah railway line that was just opened in December last year.

Also Woodman point between Rockingham and Fremantle is a nice beach and nice photography location.

And if you have the time, Take a day trip over to Rottnest Island. A great day trip, With plenty to see and do (And photograph) on the island.
