Why are all the threads locked?

...Because there is a new ideas forum! RedBubble wouldn’t be where it is today without your ideas and feedback. We want to listen better, and make sure good ideas get the recognition and action they deserve. We have recently opened a new ideas forum designed specifically for managing feedback. It also means this forum will be retiring and new threads posted here will be closed. You can find the new feedback forum here: http://feedback.redbubble.com There is a brief article on how it works here, however, you will probably find it is easy enough to have a play with and work out as you go. |

Jo – you don’t have to post this but…how do you get to read what other comments are left on the suggestions? It’s definitely weird leaving a comment when you don’t see anything except the title of the suggestion. |

Jo – is there somewhere else we can discuss this new format? I’m sorry to keep posting here I just don’t know where else to go with it. This is my second question about it and I can find nowhere to make a comment on the format itself – really don’t want to waste a vote sending in a comment on the way the thing works or doesn’t work. Is there someway for staff to combine multiple suggestions? There are 3 suggestions about creating books on Redbubble. If a person wanted to support books, they’d need to use 3 votes – particularly if the suggestions are slightly different. However, since I can’t see the whole suggestion, I don’t know if they are different or not. Another small annoyance…when you “go there” you have to sign up. When you are done, you have to return to RB and you only go back to the RB main page, not to where you were (ie, in the forums). I assume it won’t always be that way, cause it might put people off…it does me, though I am using it at the moment because it appears everything else is locked up :) |

Click on the title of the suggestion and it will open up in another window with any comments made and also a graph of voting trends for that suggestion. |

There is a button beneath each suggestion to report it as a duplicate, I have done this on two of the entries (I do this is the entry with the least votes) and left a comment in the duplicate entry as to what I think it is a duplicate of. when you “go there” you have to sign up No if you are signed in to redbubble you will automatically be signed in over there However, since I can’t see the whole suggestion, I don’t know if they are different or not. The whole suggestion is the title. Not like threads in conventional forums where there is a title and a intro post. |

I did click on the title and got nothing. It just went to another page with the title and nothing else – I can see there were a number of comments, but couldn’t actually see the comments. I was signed into redbubble, no I wasn’t signed in over there. nor could I sign in. I had to create an account. I tried a few times the first visit there to sign in with my redbubble account…nope. It wanted an email to sign in, which i gave it, and a password. that didn’t work either, until I signed up. Now, when I click the link to that forum, it has me signed in while I am signed in to redbubble. I should have said more than “the whole suggestion” – often a suggestion has details besides just the title, and since I can only (still) see the title lines I couldn’t tell if there was anything besides that by way of detail. Okay, I don’t see any buttons to report multiples…I see one to report an objection (inaproppriate). um, I might have to tweak my firefox settings… BUT…I should also add that I sorta like the overall idea of this and see it making things a lot easier for RB to handle suggestions…as well as letting members see what’s already being suggested. It looks pretty organized. |

should have said thanks shelley :) |

The dates shown on suggestions are in the format MM.DD.YYYY, which is confusing for those people in the world who use a sensible date format ;-) |

This new forums is too good … _ :) _ Just make the feel of the new forum similar to redbubble. |

When you go to the feedback forum be sure to click on the HOT tab. And if you want to vote be sure to click on the VOTE link once you are reading a particular suggestion. I think some people have missed the click to vote part of the process! |

ok so ive run out of votes? Can some of the ‘done’ suggestions be removed so i can get some votes back? |
