Watchlist and Groups (locked)

Is there a reason that we can’t add a group to our watchlist ?

What if I don’t want to join the group, time constraints, wrong type of photography (example), but I really like the art that is going into the group and I would like to keep an eye on it.

Why not do as some do Alison, join because they like it.
I have a quite a few members in the Fog group, they dont have fog shots but love the fog shots that come thru the goup.
Just an idea until your’s is put into effect

I was thinking that I might end up with too many group BM’s Christopher – although I’d end up with just as many ‘new works’ if I had it on my watchlist. Perhaps a favourite function might be better.

Only thing you would get on the notfications are the group bmails, which is an easy fix if you dont want to read, and you dont get notifications of new uploads, only if someone posts something in the forum, and that shows up on activity monitor ;-)

Allison, for now you could just go to the group page and add it to your “bookmarked” pages in your browser! That way you can go visit when ever you like. Most broswers have the capability to create a new folder for the shortcuts, you could make one and name it “my fave groups” or something to that effect!
Just a suggestion that might help save you from all the unwanted group bmails!

Alison if you click on the art tab in a group you can subscribe to the feed via RSS, ditto TShirts, Journals and Writing.

I’ve added this over in the new ideas forum- where you can vote on it to add your support.
