Hiya Debby,

For me, I usually use a simple descriptive title. For example CASTLE FORCALQIERET 1, but I like things simple.

JESSICA TREMP on the other hand uses some extraordinary creative titles that actually add to the image itself.

Some people are very matter of fact and just use the filename straight from their camera.

I guess it depends on what your intentions are. I personally try to avoid titles that might sound pretentious.

This is a subject that has been raised a few times in RB, check out this link for more info…

I usually just take a long good look at the photo and think about the time of day, the subject, the mood, the colors and any other detail that help describe what the photo is conveying. Sometimes I may start out with one title and by the time I finish writing a brief description, something better will come to mind.

Hi Debby!
This is a tough one….. I find that my own work tends to remind me of something, or make me feel a certain mood & I tend to go with that. like this one which was one of my Mood titles.
At other times I just go with the obvious ......
Just let your mind wander….. it’ll come to you.

A lot of people use musical references for their titles….. that works too :))
