Shocked by questions in Survey
|
|
I received the email asking people to participate in a survey and would have happily done so with no further incentive than assisting RedBubble. I was very shocked that you asked for my personal details such as annual income, family details, post code, age, etc. together with my email address! And they were compulsory otherwise I could not continue the survey. I would have loved to have given you my feedback as I’d really like to contribute to develop RB more, but I am not prepared to enter such private information together with my email address. Inventing answers would just mean you don’t take the rest seriously or your statistics are wrong. Kasia PS: Like others I did not see that only US residents can win the $100 Amazon gift card. This should be stated much more clearly. |

“I did not see that only US residents can win the $100 Amazon gift card. This should be stated much more clearly.” I agree. This was only made clear AFTER completing the survey… |

I saw this information on the lead-in page to the survey, along with a statement that non-US residents would get a RedBubble voucher of similar value. However, I did not complete the survey, for the same reason as Kasia-D. |

I didnt respond to the survey but I havent been here for a while. I work in the publishing industry and the latest catch phrase moving through the ranks is “he who has the data has the power’”. RB is a great community it would be a shame to have it sold out to mailing lists and the like. |

Artden, in case you misunderstood my point. RB already has my email address as I’m a member and I am definitely not inferring that they are selling out to maiing lists. I’ve not had any third-party advertising or spam that could be linked back to RB in my three years here. |

Thanks for the clarification Kasia |
