A collaboration with Stefan Sagmeister one of the world’s most creative and inspiring designers.
Rate yourself on a scale from 1-10 (1 being seriously depressed, 10 being the happiest) and then create self-portrait expressing that state.
The portrait must follow the template here, including its 16:9 landscape format. Specifically for the animation to work the face needs to fit within the area and essentially be the same size as the face in the template.
We suggest you download the template and build on top of it
PLS NO WORK NOT BASED ON THE TEMPLATE – INCLUDING 16:9 AND PLS INCLUDE A RATING OF YOUR HAPPINESS FROM 1-10. CLOSER TO THE TEMPLATE MORE LIKELY TO BE PART OF THE FINAL ANIMATION
Any artistic medium/technique is allowed but please use the template! Here is an example.
Stefan and team will be animating the best of these results into a sequence for inclusion in his upcoming “Happy Film”.
Is it good?
Two signed copies of Sagmeister’s amazing book Made You Look – one a people’s choice and the other a curator’s selection.
There is the potential that some works will also be included in a exhibition associated with this project in New York.
In entering this challenge you are providing a license for the work to be included in Stefan Sagmeister’s project the “Happy Film” and for purposes of promoting this project. You retain copyright.
Works that don’t fit the template will be removed from the challenge (sorry but that is how it is).
