“Gedday to all” Ken Tregoning here, another quickie as I am at work… Day Job
I design and sell fine furniture, but painting is my passion, I’d really love to know if there are others like me, twice divorced & re-married and Now deleriously happy to someone who understands the Artistic highs and lows that seem to encoumpas we Arto’s.
I love this idea that we can connect sometimes it is impossible to keep apointments we loose time like others loose tram tickets. “Babble on Ken” .

Hi, taiche here. Nick-name that stuck – maiden name initials T.H. Only my parents and enemies call me Tracey! Occasional user of pastels and pencils but my favourite medium by far is acrylic. I am from the UK but now live with my English hubby in Turkey. I always enjoyed art but could not see a career when I was a youthful 16 year-old and opted for sciences (the stupidity of youth!) Twenty years on, after a life of working to live, picked up the paintbrush and haven’t stopped. Love painting curves, the female form in particular. I see my work as semi-abstract/abstract realism but have recently been coined ‘remodernist’...I had to look it up! Have been asked to exhibit my work in 2009 ….any tips would be greatly appreciated (completely NEW territory for me). Have a Merry Crimble!

Hi! I just joined the group and I’m curious where you draw the line regarding “unedited” photos. I have some photos that I don’t touch, but I have many more which I adjust saturation, color correction, and contrast a bit in the raw conversion process but I don’t do any photoshop or other pixel editing.

Just still finding my way around this site, I have work on another art site that I spend a lot of time on. But I like certain apects of this site, this club being one of them. I am David or coffeenoir, becase I like coffee black and fims noir. As well as b&w photography. I also do color photos as well as drawing and painting. I like to do prints when I find the time, which is rarely. I have been having a hard time here trying to get my work seen and have actually thought about giving up this site and concentrating on the other one instead. I dont know… I am also going back to school full time soon so din’t know how much I will even be on-line…

Hi! I’ve just joined this group as I love realistic art work… I’ve been drawing and painting and pastelling (is that a word?) since I was very young, but haven’t done a lot of artwork in the last 10 years because of being very busy working as a graphic artist, then having kids (4) and homeschooling… I get a little bit of artwork done nowadays, and also teach drawing for our local homeschool group. Hoping to get some encouragement and motivation from all you guys! (And inspiration!) Jo :)
