This is not a debate for why other animals would be OK… when I was at school and visited a farm, those were the livestock breeds. Horses and dogs worked, cats kept the mice at bay etc etc.
This is for BABY cows, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens. Only.
NO HUMANS in any way this includes hands.
NO CRUELTY of any kind. This includes slaughterhouses, visible cages (fences are understandable, it’s a farm but cages are not acceptable, we want as free range as possible for captive animals.
NO “highland coos” etc… wild animals will go for another challenge
NO horses. Seriously. Thank you.
NO llamas, alpacas etc. While our local farm has a couple of alpacas, these are not classic animals that remind me of my happy spring school trips to the farm :-P
If the baby animal is suckling then it’s OK to have an adult animal in the shot, however we’d prefer to just see babies.
AN UNHATCHED EGG IS NOT A BABY CHICKEN. Just saying. If it was, we would not have omelettes ever because there would be no edible eggs there would just be chickens. Just in case you wondered. :-P
