After visiting the market one year I went to go back the following year and it had been closed. Reason? A brand new suburban shopping mall…
When I wrote “Nobody Bothered To Tell Me” it started out as a poem and ended up as a written fictional piece. I didn’t expect this; it was the pen’s fault, but someone asked if I could make a part two about what would have happened if I had taken the other road. Now I tried and it was hard, for this is not my strong hold. I write mostly poetry and if I do write stories, they are usually factual and humorous. I don’t think I have much of an imagination for fictional stories. So, for who asked, I tried. And if there is something that I could improve, I’ll appreciate your comments. This is part 2 of / Nobody Bothered To Tell Me / Oh, and one last thing, my husband is very worried that someone might have our address and might send someone over to take me to a psychiatry ward for he said this is the second morbid piece in a row I write. No kidding.

my father passed away 1983.. in November. . he was an elegant man full of a poetic spirit. / he was a dancer… aah. smiles. he would give us a kiss every single morning without fail . on our foreheads of his four daughters / he had a special place in his heart for my mom .. who had the prettiest eyes in the world he said .. / he had way with all the girls he knew:). his eyes had a special twinkle dad was generous to a fault and lost more than we could ever count as soon as he finished eating he would drink a cup of strong black coffee in a tiny cup with tons of sugar in it he brought us a piano when none of us could play , just so maybe one of us would:) / / ..we never did learn , but we sure knew how to bang it he owned a laundry where he would invite his friends to play dominoes in .. lol. the business was a social gathering he had a complex that never left him , because his mom had a few different husbands , in a time when that was a non . well it still is. but , you know he had a melancholy way about him , and always thought of others before he remembered himself.. he would pay the painter lets say , before the painter painted.. is how we described him daddy made each one of us feel as though we were his very favorite daughter / love you papi.. / and this was my suggestion for a memory home page. in honor of him and all soldiers of all the world .. daddy was one of you

This started out with beautiful things in my head about a nice walk through a back road and the beauty of nature and I meant it to go as a poem and it just started to come out as a writing so I just let my pen flow and it went crazy. Hope doesn’t sound too morbid. Please take it as a laugh and I guess it does have a moral to the story. See if you can catch it. lol
