Inland Water

This challenge closed about 3 years ago.

The Challenge

This challenge is all about Inland water, lakes, rivers, ponds. NO OCEAN SHOTS PLEASE!! There is something special about a pier on a lake, the scenery that includes a wonderful cottage, the cabin view up north. Show us your wonderful inland water. Sorry no tee shirts please. Art will be accepted as long as water is the feature.

Judging / Voting Criteria

There are 2 essential criteria for this challenge:
1: As per the general upload rules for this group, all images MUST contain some information about the subject. If the image does not have text in the description to inform viewers of where and/or what?, then the image will be removed from the challenge.
2: The image must include water as the focus. Once again we are not accepting Ocean shots….so if it could be mistaken as an Ocean shot, be sure your description tell us other wise.
Please vote for the image that best fulfills both criteria.

Rewards & Prizes

The winning image will be featured on the group’s homepage, The top ten placings will get a congratulations from the group and one will be recognized as an honorable mention.

Additional Information

Please only upload your best images to this challenge. We do not accept ‘snapshots’ or images that are blurry or outside of the guidelines. We are looking for QUALITY.Remember: It is VITAL that you title and describe your artwork and let us know a little about the subject (just like a REAL postcard!). The internet is a great source of information. Just remember to quote your source/reference if you do not use your own words.
If your image is removed from the challenge, it is not meant to be a reflection or judgment on your artwork. It will mean that the rules of the challenge have not been met. Please re-read the guidelines, amend and re-submit. All the very best!
