  • SMILING by SMOKEYDOGSOCKS

WITH THE AID OF ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 2 AND POLAR COORDINATES, I WAS ABLE TO COME UP WITH THE PROFILES OF TWO PEOPLE “SMILING”. OR, AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT THIS PHOTO TOLD ME IT WAS.

  • DRAGONFLY SWIRL by SMOKEYDOGSOCKS

THIS PHOTO OF A DRAGON FLY ON A WINDOW SCREEN, IS A CLOSE UP OF AN EXISTING SHOT CALLED, “DRAGON FLY SOCKS”. THE DRAGON FLY IS STILL DISSERNABLE IN THIS SHOT WHERE I USED POLAR COORDINATES TO MANIPULATE THE WINDOW SCREEN INTO A SPERICAL IMAGE. IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE THE DRAGON FLY IS ENTANGLED IN A SPIDER WEB.

  • Vegas Vortex by sigfusson

This original shot is of the Las Vegas strip from the viewpoint of the observations deck on the 1/2 scale Paris Hotel’s Eiffel Tower. I used a Photoshop filter called Polar Coordinates to create this vision of Vegas. I’ve only been there once, but it didn’t take me long to get sucked into it’s charm and glitz – what I refer to as the Vegas Vortex. /

  • PALM BRANCH CRYSTAL by SMOKEYDOGSOCKS

THIS PHOTO OF A PALM TREE BRANCH, LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A PALM TREE BRANCH. WITH THE AID OF POLAR COORDINATES IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 2.0, I WAS ABLE TO MAKE A “PALM BRANCH CRYSTAL”, OR AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT IT TOLD ME IT WAS WHEN I CREATED IT. I USED THE POLAR COORDINATES OPTION SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE I GOT IT TO LOOK LIKE SOMETHING THAT I LIKED.
