To Death Us Do Drug by Juilee Pryor

A very old analouge negative taken on Boxing Day some twenty odd years ago. This girl was living with my younger sister in Darlinghurst in Sydney at the time and yes there were drugs involved. Neither of them survived the experience. All I have left is some very old photo’s and my memories. To death us do drug. Was that a challenge, a motto or a promise. I could never work it out.

About This Group

Pleasure and Pain is an artistic journey touching on every single emotion we as human beings ever experience. Whether its grief, loss, depression, agony, pain, lust, laughter or happiness, we seek your artistic expression of an intense emotion. We’d love for these raw emotions to be displayed in images we can see written on your face, your body, in your movements, or vividly portrayed in your writing. We want to see them and read them…and therefore…feel them along with you.

There is method in our madness. But is there method in yours?

PLEASE DO NOT submit photos of landscapes, buildings, seascapes, of faraway lands, you get the drill. Don’t get us wrong, these are lovely photographs, but they are not appropriate for this group. We are looking for images/artwork/writing that show specific intense human emotion preferably with the human face and form or in written form with intense vivid imagery.
