A series of artwork using a ‘double happiness’ Chinese character, commonly used during the wedding ceremony. Each of the ‘happiness’ characters represents the 2 individuals involved, joining the 2 side by side thus signifying the happy occasion of uniting a happy couple. I have used the symbols for male and female to replace part of the Chinese character.

We wouldn’t want you to forget the T in GLBT :)
This is a statement about the irrational anxiety some cis men have about trans people. They threaten us because they think we threaten their masculinity.
Haven’t we all heard this before?! ;)) FEATURED IN THE ‘ART DIVERSITY STORE’ GROUP – NOVEMBER 2009
Buck Angel is a female-to-male transgender porn star, very hot, and a really nice guy! I think he’s quite inspiring in the way that he puts himself out there with pride and with no apology for who he is. I originally did this piece as a submission for a transmen exhibition happening in Melbourne in 2010. It didn’t make the final cut, but I’m still happy with it. :)
Digital art/Photoshop I love making collages so I wanted to see if I could make one on the computer. The piece is about an addictive relationship.
Digital art/Photoshop In multi-cultural class, we were supposed to illustrate how we identified in terms of gender and sexual orientation. In collage fashion, I used the help of celebrities to do this. I tried to make the pictures look like magazine cut outs. (obviously I did not take those pictures, I just pirated them from google)

This is my first self portrait, actually it is my first portrait of a person. It represents my two passions, Photography and Digital Painting. I used Corel and my tablet to paint. This should be one of many…
I believe the key to peace is goodness, kindness and love…and—despite the usual hint of negativity in my work—I actually believe that positive messages are more powerful.

This group is for artists and visitors to the site interested in art, design and tshirts that cater for the non-straight crowd.
For visitors and buyers: its a place in the bubble for the more commercial works available on here produced by gay people or gay-friendly people. So if you’re looking for a tshirt for pride day, a gift for a gay couple getting married or a gay friend’s birthday then this is the place to look.
For artists: If you’re producing work depicting same sex attraction that you think might be commercially attractive, then send it our way. But it has to be more than just a hot guy or girl and a rainbow flag, so the hosts have the right to discriminate on what is accepted. We’re aiming to keep a high quality. We’ll also be publicising the group around the web and hope that members will too. Finally we expect everyone to help each other get better by using the forums to discuss exhibitions, gay-friendly galleries, network and constructive criticism on our creative process.
Note: The word ‘gay’ is used here as an all inclusive term for the LGBTIQ community.
