About This Group

This group:

- showcases quality visual art focussing on themes of sexual and gender diversity (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, gender queer…)
- prioritises work with fresh and exciting approaches to art and subject matter
- may also include more traditionally themed work
- creates a supportive space for creativity and the exploration of new ideas

The group showcases work which is more than nudes (other groups may be more appropriate here, here, here, here and here) a rainbow flag, or slogans (this group might be best here).

Whilst the group includes popular images of nudity and rainbows, it seeks to go beyond this by including the best of such images and prioritising the best of similarly themed work from the same artist.

Work may be rejected for many reasons. Sometimes its difficult to determine how images submitted fit the group’s description or purpose – particularly if there’s not a clear reference to gender and sexual diversity. If an image is rejected please don’t take it personally and I am more than happy to reconsider.
