Taken in an old, perhaps abandoned graveyard at Lochcarron in the Wester Ross area of the Highlands in Scotland. A second visit was needed as the omnipresent midges got us all on very damp and humid first visit. A haunting place in half light. The abandoned roofless chapel is in the rearground. The main family in this graveyard are the Mackenzie’s. Pictorialistic images can be subjective. They convey a certain, almost undefinable quality to the viewer. The art make the viewer wonder, the art may catch the eye for lack of detail at first glance and then on a second view the viewer sees the intent of the artist.
