As most of you know by now, we live in the quiet (at present) and delightful Indian ocean side township of Yanchep, some 55 kms north of Perth in Western Australia. The beaches are less than 5 minutes away in the car and I took this photo yesterday afternoon, (Friday 20 Nov) / The nearest red roof building you can see is a beachside cafe/kiosk (their fish and chips are great by the way!) / On the left – and out of shot – a large housing development is taking place and the eventual plans show that we can expect to see promenades, cafes, small hotels etc. It wont be our sleepy little Yanchep for much longer. / Camera Sony DSC R1. / 24-120 Carl Zeiss Vario Zonnar lens with cp filter / f11 at 1/250th second / hand held
