Add your Pay It Forward nomination here. Dont forget to tell us why you love it so much. Your patience is appreciated in the initial stages while we work to get all the many Pay It Forwards that we have floating around in journals into the group, but each nomination will be edited with a reply for everyone to know we have seen it. I love this photo called “dedication” by bidkev…It is a moody, powerful, beautiful piece. To me it holds so many contrasts…powerful, wild beauty of the stream against the serenty of being solitary and doing a simple thing such as fishing ….the hugeness of the area and the smallness of the fisherman….not to mention the contrasts of rocks, water, green, and broody sky…It all comes together to make it one of my favorite pieces to stare at over and over again…It gives me a feeling of belonging, and of being overwhelmed at how small each of us are… Edit – Thanks Ginger, this nomination will now be included. thank you for Paying it Forward :) Jul Invited |

There are just so many talented and creative people on Red Bubble many I have gotten to know well and some not so well but all the same are fans of their fantastic work. But if I can only choose one from the thousands here I would like to nominate NATURELENS – Neil Bygrave’s for his shot: Grey Squirrel. He has so many shots to choose from in his wonderful portfolio on Red Bubble and on his website all his work is beautiful but the Grey Squirrel wins it for me. The lighting, colour and depth of field is just spot on it is almost a 3D photograph. I would love to spend some time out on a shoot with Neil to get some ideas and tips to better my own photography. Edit – Thanks Tony, this nomination will now be included. thank you for Paying it Forward :) Jul Invited |

Ok… this is very hard. I have so many favourites, genius photographers, digital artists and painters (for lack of a better description). So, please accept my nomination for Arie Arie is one of the most brilliant artists. Versatile in all mediums, from painting, sculpture, photography and digital art – and I love each and every one of his works. (Oops, I am slow this morning… brain cells not in tune yet) Edit – Thanks Avril, this nomination will be included, but you will have to choose one piece of work first :) thank you for Paying it Forward :) Jul |

Oh it certainly is hard, but my most recent favourite is for Nancy Polanski’s Gerbera Daisies The composition and simplicity is so stunning. I particularly like the quirky photographing of the backs of their ‘heads’. I’m a bit of a sucker when it comes to flowers, and Nancy photographs them so beautifully, so Nancy has my nomination. I’d like to nominate homage to Carlo Crivelli by elisabetta trevisan It was very hard to choose. Not the artist, that was relatively easy, but I love every work in her gallery and have already purchased several prints. I love how she merges animate and inanimate and figurative and decorative elements. I particularly love the colours she has used in this piece – the flesh tones that take on the surrounding colours, the touches of discord with the purple fruit – and the hands are sublime. Edit -Thankyou very much Ivy for your nomination. This will be added to the group. Thankyou for Paying it Forward. Sal |

I want to nominate one of my best friends here on RedBubble, not only because she is my dearest and best friend, but also because of the way she creates her digital pieces of art, shows she’s on a mission. She is very versatile in using techniques and programs and it shows in every image she magically produces out of her top hat! Edit- Thanks for nominating Arie. Your choice shall be added. Thankyou for Paying it Forward :)) Sal |

So difficult to pick one above the rest. I have many favorites from so many Red Bubble members. This person, Cheri McEachin has some animal photos that are truly amazing. So clear and so real looking. She also has a special knack for finding perfect human models to pose for her. But this image of a Flamingo has always been a favorite of mine. Each incredible feather seems to stand out from all the others. The clarity is stunning. The pose is perfect. The colors are vivid! I am attracted to ‘curves’ and this image does not let me down. The flow of the feathers makes me want to touch this creature. And it’s so life-like, I think I almost can! Thanks so much for creating this wonderful idea! Edit- congratulations Nancy on being selected. Thankyou for nominating Cheri. Her image will now be selected- Sal |

So many to choose from.. there are a lot of great artists here… one of my favorite is tonilouise. All of her work is fantastic in my eyes.. but if I had to nominate just one piece of hers it would be… hmmm.. tough choice.. how about Battered Edges. This piece is on my “to purchase” list. My husband is a surfer and I love the tones she uses and the lone board. Surfers are interesting sort of people.. sometimes they are sort of lone themselves. Anyway.. it is his passion and I love this piece because it reminds me of my husband. All of her work is marvelous though. Edit- Thankyou for your nomination Alexia. Tonilouise’s image will now be invited! |

I would really like to nominate my very dear friend Kimberly Palmer. She is one of the sweetest people I know. Kimmie does some wonderful work and it’s really hard to choose a favourite. I’ll niominate this as a favourite – Misson Benches Edit – sorry forgot that part…I love the feeling that I get with the image. Loneliness, peace and age. I wonder how many people have sat on those benches in contemplation. The colouring and aged treatment that Kimberly has given it works so well for this shot. Invited |

I am so deeply honored and touched by your nomination Sal – thank you is so inadequate to express what you mean to me! It’s an almost impossible task to select one image or poem from among the hundreds of gifted artists and writers here on RB, or even from among those whose work has especially touched me and who have become friends as well, but since I must… I nominate Nancy Fischer for her outstanding black and white image, Cool Joe Cool Joe is one of the most recent of Nancy’s stunning images and a perfect example of what is so special about her unique artistry. What I love about Nancy’s work is that she takes us beyond the obvious into the essence of the object, the person, the building – she enables us to read between the lines that are the play of light and shadow in her sharp and candid images. She captures reflections within reflections in the sunlight that bounces off a store window, a high rise, in the shadows that accent the carved face of an architectural masterpiece. She catches the character of a person in his hooded eyes and crooked smile, in her body language and tilt of head. Nancy catches the spirit of the city she clearly loves so very much and she makes us love it right along with her. Whether it’s in a crystal clear black and white, a powerful abstract, or in a blaze of color on a NYC street, Nancy takes us on a journey of the heart in laughter, sorrow or awe. She is a very gifted writer as well. If her images have changed my thinking about photography as art, her friendship has been a spark of inspiration in my life as well. This will now be included. thanks for paying it forward Lianne – Jul Invited |
