Pastel on Canson paper – 50cm x 35cm I apologise for the poor quality of the image (the photo of the painting was taken using my OLD camera). This is Miss Isobel Robinson (no relation), who is a local ‘legend’, a life member of The Seymour Agricultural & Pastoral Society and Seymour & District Art Society, and no doubt several other groups in the Seymour area! She is a much loved local ‘elder’ and the painting was one of the many I have done over the years of Ag. Society members for display at the Seymour Agricultural Show. Isobel is also known for her incredible spinning and weaving abilities, and the jacket she is wearing in the painting is one of her own creations. Once they woke up it didn’t take them long to get into mischief though. One of them spent the entire time asleep in the washing machine! I thought that the three images made a great montage, so here it is!
