FEATURED IN PARROTS ONLY – Close Companion. Voted most popular. My son’s pet Yoshi. Unfortunatley passed away from some kind of flu. It was devestating – he was such an awesome character – loved to shower, laughed, followed my son everywhere. Great little companion.

I was really suprized today in foxes Lair nature reserve here in Narrogin / as right by the roadside was a nesting tree for a pair of ringneck parrots, as i happened to pass i noticed the parent birds quiet still in a smaller tree not far away so i took a couple of shots of them / as i looked up i saw this little guy bobbing his head in and out of the hollow. so i waited and grabbed this capture then all of a sudden out he popped / tried to fly hitting the ground with a couple of tumbles , it was junior’s frirst flight and i was right there he nearly took my hat off as he shot past me / It was so quick I didnt get a chance to get another shot off. was a grand site to see it leave the nest and be up close and personal as it happened / couldnt wait around for the other one in the nest to come out though, shot taken with the fuji S100FS
