In The Artist’s Words

After graduation in History of Art and working as a media-designer, I finally found my real vocation in painting!
It is my passion and every moment that I spend in front of my canvas gives me great joy.

I love nature in all seasons, that’s why my artwork is focused on landscape, flowers and still life.
I don’t use any paint-brush in my work. It is the palette knife technique that allows me to paint thickly in an impressionistic impasto style, creating bold layers of bright colors, one applied atop the other, for depth and dimension.

In my Words

Beautiful, rich in colour, textural and a pleasure to view would be the adjectives I would use to describe Claudia’s work. She is able to catch the light perfectly in her brushstrokes giving her work a clean, bright and emotive character. Her brushstrokes work so well that they lend themselves to the feeling of motion and it is not hard to see why her painting Regatta won the challenge Motion and Movement!
